During this process, some unwanted fibers may form strings, which are collected and sent for recycling.
The process continues at storage where tufts of wool are stored. Subsequently, they are processed through spinning, a step where fibers are twisted together to create strong and durable yarn. These balls of yarn can be used either for knitting or producing goods, such as jacket or carpet.
