Would you like to work in a company related to environmental protection?
Definitely, I have always wanted to work in a company advocating environmental protection. I’m proud to say I’m an environment enthusiast who believes that every little thing we do, every little action we take today could bring about a huge change to the nature, to the whole world.
How can we protect the environment?
It occurs to me that everybody, young and old, rich and poor, can do something everyday to protect the environment. We can’t stop the waste production entirely, but we can make significant contribution, by following the 3 Rs idea: reduce, reuse, and recycle. You know, cutting down on the plastic use, not buying things you don’t really, and try every way possible to reuse and recycle them.
Do you think you’ve done enough to protect the environment?
No, I don’t. I’m well aware of the fact that I’m still using a lot of plastic every day, and I haven’t taken part in the environment protection programs as much as I wanted. But I keep reminding me and people around me every single day that there’s more we could do fight climate change, the pollution.
Is there education about environmental protection at school in your country?
I’m certain that there’re some education programs on environmental protection in most schools today in Vietnam. They aim at raising students’ awareness of the climate change, some measures and solutions that individuals could take to protect the environment, like not littering on the streets, reduce the use of plastic, and so on.
