Describe a time that answer phone call from person who you don’t know in public place | IELTS Speaking Part 2

I remember a time when I got a phone call from someone I didn’t know while I was at a park. It was a sunny afternoon, and I was sitting on a bench, taking a break after a walk.

My phone rang, and it was from a number I didn’t recognize. Normally, I wouldn’t pick up, but I had recently entered a photography contest, and I thought it might be related to that. So, I answered the call, and it turned out to be someone from the contest organization.

The caller introduced themselves and told me they wanted to discuss my entry and give me some feedback. They even invited me to an online workshop they were hosting about improving photography skills. I was surprised but excited, as photography is something I’m really passionate about.

Even though I wasn’t expecting the call, I found it really interesting and valuable. The conversation lasted about ten minutes, and I learned a lot about the upcoming workshop. I felt happy that I had picked up the call, even though it was from an unknown number. It was a bit unusual to have this kind of conversation in a public place, but I was so engaged that I didn’t mind the people passing by.
