Describe a sport you watched and would like to try | IELTS Speaking Part 2

One sport I watched and would like to try is surfing. I saw it for the first time last summer when my family went on a beach vacation. There was a surfing event happening, and we were able to watch surfers riding the waves from the shore. I watched it with my family, and we were all fascinated by how the surfers managed to balance on their boards while riding such big waves.

I watched it because I’d heard a lot about surfing but had never actually seen it up close. The surfers looked so focused and skilled, and it seemed like an exciting, challenging sport that would be fun to learn. Seeing people of all ages enjoying it made me think it’s something I might be able to try too.

I definitely want to give surfing a try in the future. Watching it made me feel inspired and curious about what it would be like to experience the waves myself. It looked like a great way to connect with nature, get some exercise, and have fun. I think I would enjoy the adventure, and I hope to find a beginner’s class next time I’m near the beach.
